screener training
Screener training courses are designed for teachers, senior teaching assistants, educational psychologists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and specialists in behavioural difficulties.

Irlen screener training provides the professional with the ability to diagnose and assess the extent of an individual suffers from Irlen syndrome.
Research shows that 46% of the those Dyslexia, ADD/HD, Asperger’s syndrome, Autism and other learning difficulties, are able to benefit from Irlen colour technology. The screener learns to help the client in more ways than quickly choosing a colour or combination of colours which will eliminate distortions on the printed page. This is not possible until three separate sub tests are carried out which rate reading difficulties, reactions to the printed page and an analysis of visual distortions from test diagrams. Only after this will the screener provided an overlay be able to offer future strategies to help the client understand the reason for their difficulties and how to achieve their potential.

An Irlen screener is an educational professional able to diagnose and treat an
Irlen Syndrome which is a recognised disability according to the 1995 Disability Discrimination Act case S100909/02, Screener training.
